One private web page, made for your business and nobody else. It isn’t listed on Google, only you get the link, and it comes down after 30 days.
On it you’ll find:
a short video of me going through what I found
where you show up on Google, and where you don’t
a rough figure for the work going to the businesses above you
three fixes you can do yourself today, free, whether we ever speak or not
What I check.
Google Maps changes depending on where someone searches from. You might be top of the map outside your own front door and nowhere two miles down the road. So I check it properly.
01
Where you show up on Google Maps
Your position in the map results from a grid of spots around your business, for the search your customers actually type (like "roofer rochdale"). Each dot shows where you came in from that spot.
How many spots you’re in the top 3 (the map pack), how many in the top 10, how many not in the top 20 at all, and your average position.
Checks from the towns round you, across several searches, so you can see exactly where you drop away.
02
How many people are searching
Monthly searches for what you do in your towns, from Google’s own Keyword Planner. Google only gives ranges, so that’s how I show them.
03
The work going to someone else
A rough £ figure for the jobs a month going to the businesses above you on the searches where you’re outside the top 3. It’s worked out as searches × the share who click each top 3 listing × the share who enquire × the share of enquiries that become a job × an average job value.
I use cautious published rates, round it down, and name every input and where it came from. It’s an estimate, not a promise.
04
Your reviews against the top two
Your Google rating, how many reviews you’ve got, how many came in the last 90 days, and whether you reply to them, side by side with the two businesses above you on the map.
Got recent reviews with no reply? I’ll write a ready-to-paste reply for up to three of them.
05
Who else takes the map spots
A side-by-side table of you and the businesses sharing the map: rating, reviews, how many map spots each holds, opening hours and the badges on their own websites.
Why they’re ahead, in plain words, and who else is showing up.
06
Can someone get hold of you from a phone?
Is your website linked from your Google listing?
Is your number tap-to-call?
Is there an enquiry form?
Can people book or ask for a quote online?
Does your site load fast on a phone (Google’s own speed test)?
Has it got the padlock?
Do missing pages show a proper "page not found"?
Are your social pages linked from your site?
07
Your website
Speed score on a phone, page size, page titles, the little summary that shows when your link’s shared on WhatsApp or Facebook, and anything I spot that’s broken.
08
Normal Google results
Where your website comes in the normal results under the map for your main searches.
09
Around the web
Trust badges customers look for, like trade body logos and accreditations, on your site and your rivals’. If I can’t find one, that isn’t proof you don’t have it. It just means it isn’t showing.
Your details on directories and other sites: wrong numbers, different opening hours, missing listings, or a second Google listing at your address.
Your social pages: what’s live, how active they are, and whether your website points to them.
10
Small leaks
The little things that quietly put people off, like an out-of-date certificate on your site or a listing that’s missing. Each one says where I found it.
11
Missed calls
Your opening hours against your rivals’, and any public signs of how calls get handled when you’re busy. I never ring pretending to be a customer, so anything I couldn’t check is marked as not checked.
12
Three fixes you can do today
Real fixes with simple steps. No catch. They’re yours whether we ever speak or not.
Every number has a source.
Every figure on your page has a small line under it saying where it came from and when I checked. Google Maps moves about, so treat it as a snapshot of the day I looked.

Questions.
Is it really free?
Yes, it’s a launch offer: free if you ask before 1 November 2026. No card, no catch. The three fixes are yours whether we ever speak or not.
Do I need to give you any logins?
No. Everything comes from public info: Google, your website, directories and your social pages.
Will anyone else see my page?
No. It isn’t listed on Google, only you get the link, and it comes down after 30 days. Ask and I’ll take it down sooner.
Who’s it for?
Trades and local businesses across Greater Manchester who rely on Google for work. I’m based in Heywood.
I haven’t got a website. Is it still worth it?
Yes. I’ll check your Google listing and everything else, and do a free mock-up of what a site could look like.
Will you ring me?
Only if you leave your number and want me to. Otherwise it’s email.
